Internal date? Internal beta has begun? I think you need to make your gifts a little less abstract and vague. :-/

edit: I hope its not referring to an internal date because they've had those for the past 2 years, they just keep missing them. Internal beta? I thought we had reports and proof f&f beta had been going on awhile now? Was that not true? Not sure what to make of this.

Ya know... I could stop giving these gifts. This isn't a threat persay... but it's kinda stinky to try and do what I can to get these gifts for you and hear a response that points out "I'm disappointed". I can understand that I'm going to be fighting a lot of pessimistic angles on this that's been built up over the last few years. I can also admit that I can understand those angles... All I can do is apologize if anything I provide instigates emotional reactions due to high or low expectations, but this is all I can do at this time. I hope you guys understand no matter what's happening on your own thoughts and emotions.

But it would be nice to see a little more gratefulness regarding this... >.< I don't like hurting people when my intent is to try and help. If it isn't helping you, then my best advise is to take a break from this thread and do things that might, such as a walk outside or blowing the heads off opponents in your favorite RTS. Might I also advise 5 attempted 6 pools in a row for a quick giggle?

On a final note, I did put a full disclaim in post one regarding this thread and it's potential effect on your emotions, please keep them in check.

Beta hasn't started yet. However, quite a few fansites have suggested it has ... for months now, as in "this beta video"... or "this beta build..." (Personally, I think they mean to say alpha or pre-beta, but their inner geek is substituting the word beta.)

My thoughts exactly. Give the guy a break, people, he's doing what he can, and it's obvious it's limited. Take the information at face value, ponder the gifts, and don't get your hopes too high until we get an official word.

If internal has a literal and obvious meaning, I would take it as referring to a date or a meeting. I'm not even sure what an "internal beta" would entail anymore. Blizzard employees have been able to play the game internally for the past year, and I hope any beta progress would widen that scope at least a little bit. I guess an internal beta could still easily apply to battle.net itself though.
