And so we are exactly where we were oh so many posts ago. Either


1) Its Beta. In which case we have no way of knowing until Blizzard announces it. And we have to wait just like all the other Beta rumours.

OR

2) Its something other than Beta. In which, case regardless of what it is, Gifted's become the biggest troll ever on SCL. Oh and we also wont know what it is until its announced.



The important thing to realize is that Gifted must have known before starting this that there were only two outcomes.

By the way, if I'm not mistaken, WoW accounts were merged with Battle.Net back in November, right?

And generally, is there anything else we know about Blizzard's progress with B.Net 2.0? Wasn't there a rumour about a successful test game between California and Korea months ago?

Is there anyone here who's knowledgeable enough about all this stuff to have a good guess as to what exactly they may be working on/testing in the final stages before Beta?

Thats the only thing people want to hear.
Thats the only thing that really warrants any sort of hinting.


It could be something else but if it is then its just masquerading as a beta rumour for hype.

Yeah, seriously. If we go by PT's statement, this whole thing is about WoW. WoW means more to Blizzard than anything. You can imagine otherwise, but when it comes right down to it they would be willing to give up everything other than their cash cow.



However, since this is SC2 discussion, we can assume it is referring to something bigger than the beta. After all, Bnet 2 right now is the most important thing Blizzard is working on. Once Bnet 2 work is finished (or working properly) we can get the thing WE care about most, which is beta.
