You can type a bit more professional. SCLegacy is here to provide the most informative professional content to others. There's nobody saying they have to do anything for you guys, I would be thankful if I were you. They've built a great community and have more than proven themselves with the fine journalism that they bring to us. They're all volunteers working hard.

I could have been more professional, true, so I apologize for not being more professional in my complaint.

But that's my point, this is a professional site, and there was nothing professional about the content submitted in this thread by Spydi and even worse, Gifted (a staff member).

If I should be thankful to them, I should be thankful to every rumor and every thread that has been related to SC2 Beta starting soon and getting closer from SCWire and the SC2GDF. Quite frankly, I'm just disappointed.

I've always loved this site and that's why I trusted that they wouldn't do something like what is in this thread unless official news is about to be announced. I guess it's a bit early to be complaining, but so far nothing has been announced regarding the speculation presented in this thread. Nobody's perfect though so I guess I overreacted a bit calling this site SCWire and SC2GDF (because it's obviously better), but I don't believe I'm the only one who feels like they have been mislead slightly by the contents of this thread from Spydi and Gifted.

Keep throwing out the hints. - We've all been at this long enough to know that theres a chance it isn't beta news. (At least directly) Personally, I think its news about Bnet2, but we'll see. Like I've said, if these 500+ posts end up being about 'new and improved trees' there's going to be some rioting, (at least some breaking of the forum rules) and I'm sure they know that.

Well, they both said that their sources where different. All the info they get comes from Blizzard employees and eventually this little bits of information are better than twitter and facebook updates. Guess its just that we have higher expectations than what they can give us. Seriously, I don't think they will gamble Blizzard's trust for us. This is just to support the idea that they are not trolling us, yet they are not playing with Blizzard either.

Why do you believe their information is not true? Gifted has been proven right many times before, and he has a direct contact into Blizzard. Spychi is probably not a SC:L staff member, yet he has his own page. Spychi might also has some direct contact with Europe Blizzard.

They are both quite profesional in the issue. Instead of posting a high amount of speculations gathered from their sources, they both submitted a low amount of "accurate" information. Everyone within this thread has builded up the speculations, without clear information from both Gifted and Spychi. So the speculations are not even part of Gifted's or Spychi's information, but rather builds of our own. Probably the arguments they both presented at first made this posible, yet I don't find them guilty.

Just ask yourself. Could they have limited this conversation to a reduced group of people?

While I can understand your complaints GGtemplar, I do want to clarify that I would prefer that my information/reputation be kept different than the large announcements that Spychi is claiming.

Note, I've merely given 6 "gifts" which I haven't even clarified what they are exactly about. Spychi, however, is claiming he knows information specifically regarding beta, including dates and claims of information.

Our sources are also completely different. Please consider that when you consider the situation fully, I feel that isn't too large a request to beseech, agreed?
