I think that she looks like she enjoys it too much to be only the Zerg's "consume everything" instinct. But she seemed to be so nice when she wasn't infested. I don't know if resocialization could change someone that deeply, i think it mostly made people loyal order-followers.

Do we know if her evil side is caused by her infestation, the events that led up to the infestation or her history? She wasn't that much of a bitch pre-infestation, but she was also resoc'd, so it's hard to tell what her real personality is.

I think her rebirth into the Swarm stripped her of many human traits, leaving her only with vestigial conscience. The traits that were left unreduced were those that fell in line with the Swarm's function, so agression, hunger for power and predatory instincts in her are unchecked by mercy or remorse.

If kerrigan is saved in any way that doesnt result in here dieing i will be massively dissapointed.
