Once again your solution, rather then the sensible thing of putting the resource counters with the rest of the interface, is to make them pink.

But it IS a solution. Changing the font color would solve the "white text on white terrain" issue, if such an issue even existed.
I'm merely pointing out that you're trying to give credibility to one problem you see using another problem you see. Which is a problem because in fact, the two problems are in fact not related nor are they real problems, thus making this thread a trolling farce.

Every font color will in some way conflict with the multitude of tilesets SC2 will have.
Changing font color is NOT a solution. The solution is to put the most vital intel with the rest of the user interface in a way that makes it easy for new players to learn the game and does not clutter up the actual battlefield. The only con is that players are used to having it up top.
and yes i noticed you werent able to come up with one other reason why it should be floating in top right.

Just because you SAY something is true, doesn't MAKE it true. You really need to learn this lesson.
