That would make no sence...
Why can't we get a crumbling animation of the Nydus Worm, emerging out of the ground, some seconds before he does.

I was thinking maybe the burst animation would be part of the build animation.
Now the real question here is where do they come from? Zerglings take a lot longer to come to birth and they are so small and come from an egg. I wonder what an egg making them would look like, and how they'd come to be.
