I don't know why people love the Mutalisk so much, i mean it wasn't really that good of a unit, and it kinda sucked (statswise), it was only usefull when massed on mass. But guess since it was the only thing avaible, people liked it . Could you imagine if we would actually get a new unit, that would be even bether than the mutalisk

Imo the unit has found love only recently because of Mr. Jaedong.

And yeah mutalisks were complete crap until someone found out how to do the muta ball.

Why? What did Jaedong do that was so special with the mutalisk? The only thing he did that deviated a little from regular mutalisk micro was microing 2 groups in a game.

He used them extensively. Since he's the top atm, it only make sense that the unit would get more recognition.

I agree the removal of the Wraith was unwarrented. It could have served well as the Terran AtA with a few tweaks. But as one can clearly see, the Viking is an adequate replacement.

Same here. Lore/aesthetic wise, I'd rather they have kept the Wraith and looked for another unit for a GtA role. Partly because they had the Wraith in cenimatics and the icon for the game, but also because "TRANSFORM AND ROLL OUT!" never appealed to me.

Since mutas are not very useful in sc2 scraping them is not a problem.

Voted for hydra because of its iconic image, I wish I could vote for the ultra too but oh well...

Speaking of the wraith, I realllly hope they update their SC2 wraith model to look more like the SC wraith. Emphasis on the extra l's.

Actually, the new Wraith is pretty similar to the old one, it's just that the all-grey colour-scheme (as opposed to the silver-black of the original) makes it look different, oh, and the guns might be a tad fatter.
