    Fairyland - The fall of an empire

    This band is really growing on me. Not as good as Rhapsody of Fire (the kings in the symphonic power metal department) mostly because the guitar solos are not as good and the singer's vibrato sound artificial when used. The band is still good though.

    Milo, I like the genre description for Trancelike Void - "Depressive Suicidal Black Metal."

    A little bit of DJ Tiesto, a little bit of Depeche Mode, a dash of She Wants Revenge, a touch of Nathan Grigg... Ah, good stuff. =]
    Aaand sold.

    Be it through hallowed grounds or lands of sorrow
    The Forger's wake is bereft and fallow

    Is the residuum worth the cost of destruction and maiming;
    Or is the shaping a culling and exercise in taming?

    The road's goal is the Origin of Being
    But be wary through what thickets it winds.

    Depressive sounds about right... suicidal is a bit strong.

    Got this on:

    Agalloch - The Mantle

    I really don't listen to metal very often, I've just been in one of those moods.

    So good.

    Act II was a pretty big disappointment though :\
