    I was thinking... that this tentacle attack comes from a units mouth... like its the units tongue... It opens it mouth and a huge tentacle comes out of it... That could be cool don u think???? Maybe a mutation from the roach... since zerglings and Hydras have their own mutation now... Imagine tier 1 units with their own mutation. Now thats what i'd call Evolution of the zergs...

    Why not just make the axes from the roach come out like how the spine crawler does xD

    Perfecto roach evolution for an incoming expansion. Maybe in HofS, using the several expected zerg mutations in the second expansion. Anyone wanna join me with a concept draw of the Scorplisk?

    Does anybody else think that the zerg have room for an dedicated gtg ranged single damage dealing unit, capable of sniping enemy units? Some may say you have the Hydralisks for that, but Hydralisk are ony efective early game, they become much weaker lategame, due to the fact of really low hp. Lategame splash dealing units just eat throught the tier 1 Hydralisks.

    Looking at this, there is room for an another zerg unit. If the zerg would have such a unit, their lategame would be really revolutionized, with much more options. The zerg really need something new fresh, something that radicaly changes their gameplay compared to sc1.

    And what would be more cooler than an ranged damaage dealing unit with an tentackle attack animation. The unit could be a completely new unit or even an mutation from the roach

    Here how i could potentialy see the unit:

    Stinger

    Hp: 250
    Cost: 175minerals 75gas (or 75Min ,75Gas if mutated from an roach)
    Damage : GTG only ; 30 + 10 vs armored
    Range: 7
    Tier: 2.5

    This seams about right, i basicly just doubled the marauders stats, and gived it slightly less damage, a bit more gas cost and without an ability

    imagine if the zerg had this new tentacled unit when they were revealed. No wonder the zerg is the list exciting race even up to now.

    This zerg tentacle unit, a zerg turtle unit, and a giant serpent zerg unit which eats marine instantly. 3i instant epic new exciting zerg unit! unfortunately we got zergling, hydralisk, mutualisk, lurker, guardian, and ultralisk again.wow.

    Yah people definatly wouldnt have complained if Blizzard had put those in the game.

    Are you posibly saying that an roach is an turtle unit(lol) and that an Nydus worms eats marines instantly
    As for the spine crawler and the new proposed unit, it's like saying that the protoss wouldn't need an dragoon, since they alredy have phase cannons. You do understand that mobility actualy makes a huge difference

    I just find it amusing that those three "new" zerg have probably gotten the most complaint threads.

    Meanwhile im imagining what the forums would look like if say the ultralisk or mutalisk had been removed to make the zerg more new....

    In that case i must have missed a lot of threads, since i can't rememer so many complaint threads about those three, i only remember a few for the roach and maybe one or two for the other two. Which is still a lot less ,compared to the number of threads some other units have goten ( Mothership, Thor, Hellion..) and much less the number of where the people have complained of the zerg as a whole, of being weak and or boring

    Well you can't have it both, so if we want something new and fresh, some old unit should have to be removed, i would personly remove the Hydra ( even though its one of the most recognizable zerg units, and peoples favorite , including myne), you could easily replace the Hydra with 2 new units, since the hydra has so many roles, and you could finaly give the roach the place it needs. But i doubt that will happen, since people would freak out if the hydra would be removed , so the only other way is to ad a new unit, that would replace the hydra lategame( since they suck lategame), hence my tentacle attacking unit suggestion
