Thread: I think the Lurker should be scrapped...

BTW, does anyone else think that the default teamcolor for Zerg should be green? The green really compliments the Zerg look so well.

Do you like the new small ones more than the BW version?
The legs are the same size. The head has gotten bigger, so they look smaller by comparison. The head is bigger because you need to be able to tell the difference between the burrowed head of a Zergling and the burrowed head of a Lurker.

Now....about that fifth leg. Why?? Why a FIFHT leg?
Because the original one did. They've always been five-legged (plus 2 arms).

I dont know where your getting that from. The BW lurkers head was also huge. The BW Lurker legs were much thicker compared to the body as a whole and in terms of its size compared to say a marine. Additionaly the legs were longer in the BW. You can see that the legs were wider in the BW Lurker then the current one.

I'd prefer red but then that's the Dominion color. My next choice would be orange. I'd take green before purple anytime though.

Green stands out really well, and it gives Overlords that awesome green glow.

Red for Terrans, Blue for Protoss, Green for Zerg. Just like the color of their FX.

    Everything looks better in purple.

Maybe make the lurker be able to climb cliffs so zerg has a cliff climber

The Terrans are by far the best race for every colour. No colour looks bad on them, they're just naturally colour awesome.

The Lurker is a unique and fun unit that would detract from the game if removed.

I say: Move Roaches to Tier 1. Have Lurkers evolve from Roaches in Tier 2. Scrap the Hydralisk or move it to tier 2.

I'm a little fuzzy about how the Nydus network is working ATM.

However, even if the Lurker cannot 'cliff jump', a 'blink' ability would be rather useful.

The way it has for a good year now. You place Creep on the ground. Select your Nydus Network. Activate "Build Nydus Worm". A worm is built in the location (this takes a short time). At which point, any units in the network can exit to that location (or any other network entrance/exit).
