I always assumed he was a Ghost, and that they weren't so special at first. Not all of them being psychics, etc.

All Terrans in the cinematics look much less advanced than in-game.

No way it's a Ghost. If you're talking about the guy in white armor, he's definitely a Marine. If you're talking about the guy who looks like Duke Nukem, he's too big of a wuss to be a ghost and carries all the wrong weaponry.

The only reason people think anything in here is a ghost is because of the laser sights. I wonder if the Ghost was even in concept when this cinematic was made?

It would be really puzzling if they would purposefully make a ghost more frightened then the marines.

I think it's been said that the guy without the armor is just the demolitions expert. That's why the marines told him to blow the bomb at the end.
It also makes sense that those were hunter killers, not normal hydras, since the marines had such a hard time killing them.
