GUYS, I JUST FIGURED IT OUT:

The Broodlord fire a ball of spores that deals no damages. Its just spores.

After a 1 or 2 seconde cooldown, a ***ling burst from the target, dealing damages.

Its the birth of the ***ling that deal the damage, and not the impact of the whatever the Broodload will trow.

So it'd work exactly like the ability Spawn Broodlings, except it doesnt kill the target right away, and the broodlord can do it again and again.

Check the sources for the justification. That should end that. I don't know why anyone ever would try arguing against the idea that space platforms have both gravity and an atmosphere. You're better off arguing psionics, zerg, or levitation by a gigantic BC.

Remember the Dylarian shipyards mission where you steal battlecruisers? You use civilians with no pressurized suit. Vultures are unshielded bikers on a hovercycle, on the space platform. Zerg: where do they make sense?

There has never (and probably will never) be a mission or tileset without adequate gravity and an atmosphere, ergo Banshees make sense. This might seem like a massive eruption from me, but it seems so simple to me in how it does make sense and these constant arguments about the banshee or space platforms are just so tiresome to read.

You can still argue the mutalisk though. Blizzard definitely just waved the wand on them.

Perfect! - Throw in a corrosive substance that also helps the Broodlings survive the impact, at the same time boosting the initial damage, and I think we have something.

And again and again, and again again again again again again again and again again and again and again and again and again and again again again again again again again and again

Still, the spores should look far more acidlike or biobomb like

It doesnt need to be a bomb if we agree that the damages are dealt by the ling bursting from the target, and not the impact itself.

All you guys' problems would be solved!

Lots of things Blizzard will have a hard time explaining.
About Brood lord attack, what I saw in those korean videos was that mantalings were just sent there as if they had parachutes and started attacking when reached the ground, it was not the ramming impact what deals the damage as it seemed to me.
what's wrong? I'm just gone some days for my final tests and I'm automatically ignored as if I weren't even here.

Passed out last night, cause I was a lot more tired than I'd anticipated. I'll be posting something as soon as I upload the images.

EDIT: Done & posted here. I made the thread in the lore section, because there's a lot of discussion/theorycrafting about the Corruptor's design & function in order to get the justification for the BroodLord & Ling. Thansk for waiting everyone.

What should happen are Mantalings curling up into a ball like an armadillo when they're fired at the target and then uncurls afterwards.

Previously I thought that shooting green eggs was the only way to go, but this actually sounds kinda cool. The mantalings following the Brood Lord could curl up into a ball and start spinning rapidly and then launch themselves at the enemy. One of the problems with how the attack currently looks is that it just doesn't look like it does damages, but this would allow the mantalings to be fired off at a much higher velocity so it would look like they're actually hurting the enemy.
