Vote for SC2 as Spike VGA Most Anticipated Game

Casting such a vote would only serve to validate the Spike VGA's as a legitimate endeavor, rather than the pathetic, despicable, nonsense, bottom-feeding, lowest-common-denominator, popular tripe that it actually is. So no.

Legitimate awards are not determined by popular vote of the lay person.

You are insane... The customers who follow the respective game determines who wins... The one with the most customers, or people eagerly awaiting their game should be the ones to determine who wins. Those people are the ones who are going to buy the game, and if they dont matter, how can anyone?

Of course in order to say whats the most anticipated game, you have to see who gets the most votes for the most anticipated game. You can't go up to a hardcore professional gamer and ask him whats the most anticipated game by the population, because he can only give his, single, vote.

Polling the community is the best way to find questions to your answers, even if you for some reason don't like who's doing it.

If you want to know what people think, then yes, polling them is the right thing to do. If you want to know the truth, and present awards based on genuine standards of quality, then public opinion goes right out the airlock.

Any one of the Twilight books has probably sold more copies than all of Kurt Vonnegut's writing put together. What does that tell you? Other than that people have absolutely no taste, pretty much nothing.

Im really curious the mental faculty in which the R&D guys in spike used to conjure this list. Did they pick up a list of 20 games about to be released in 2010, then ask the magic 8 ball which to pick out?

Funny you should say that. My first time playing the game, I had just finished talking to everybody on the main ship and leveling my character before venturing out in the universe. Before leaving I deciding to visit another floor. Right after entering the elevator my game was auto-saved, and then my character proceeded to somehow clip past the elevator floor as it somehow rose beyond me, leaving my character floating in the shaft and my latest save game corrupted.

The game promptly went onto eBay a week later.
