Modern Japanime makes me sad. Whatever happened to good animation, storytelling, and voice acting? Japanese artists need to go back to their roots and create more in tune to Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ghost In The Shell, Akira and Princess Mononoke. Even Sailor Moon had more class than the shit they're putting out now.

You lost me there. As far as I'm concerned, with very few exceptions, anime has always been awful. And Sailor Moon was one of the most awful parts of my childhood since I remember sometimes I would have to watch the last few minutes of that to see whatever came on after Toonami that I wanted to see.
