Thread: Thor air attack animations?

    Default Thor air attack animations?

Ooookey, the last time I saw the Thor, it blasted the hell out of buildings with their back cannons and blasted the hell out of ground units with those Thorīs hammer particle cannon (badass name, BTW), all of this with nice, filled with power animations. But it was said than the ultimate battle mech was mainly an air counter. Have you guys seen the current air attack animations? As far as I see, it was atacking with the same animations as the artillery strike, but with the cannons aiming to the sky instead of 180°. Any information?

I'm still crossing my fingers we come out the other end with flak cannons instead of whatever it is he's got now. Rockets? Bleh, it's been done. In fact, it's being done by the Missile Turret.

so, you prefer the older "new" image as the Thor with those ginormous evangelion-like shoulder pods instead of the cannon backpack? Got all my support

Those are Blizzard's attempt at modifying Gundam Meteors :P

Missile pods... they look more like tank treads.

The missiles come out of the shoulders or something I think, currently the only thing the cannons are used for are the barrages. Personally, I liked the flak cannon.

But to be honest, I think Nicol mentioned this somewhere and I'm starting to agree with that, the Thor has so many attacks it feels like a true mech in a way. It's got its main attack, its shoulder rockets or w/e, and its barrage attack. That's pretty cool.
