Me having a SC1 mindset may be helping me in understanding the way the spell will actually work in realtime battle situations, better than someone who hasn't played the game competitively for a long time.
If you played competitively at all you'd know that EMP was never used to drain shields, only to drain energy. That's all the professionals ever use it for, because shields already drain fast enough from normal attacks.

Why don't you stop crying imbalance until you actually play the game, knowing SC1 as a "competitive player" doesn't mean squat since SC2 is a whole new game.

And despite your claims about storm, if you had bothered watching BR4, you'd know storm looks way deadlier than it was in SC1, and costing only 75 energy? Shorter duration meaning more instant damage? It's a massive buff, compared to the EMP which still costs 100 energy and does only 100 damage to shields.

Last but not least, ghosts cost 200 gas, that is NOT cheap.

I love how so many people cry OP every time something in the game deviates from how SC1 worked, or if they don't like it.

    Graviton Beam (upgrade?)
I rather doubt it. There are a lot fewer upgrade abilities in SC2, and most of those are on lower-tier units. Except for spell casters (and oddly enough, Terran units), most high tier units come with their cool toys. Immortals come with Hardened Shields, and Phoenixes probably come with GB.

Also, Getting a Phoenix with the Graviton Beam (upgrade?) is counterproductive to the Protoss unit mix, unless Protoss is going for an air build or a hybrid Air/Ground Build.
Getting Corsairs vs. Zerg is "counterproductive" to their unit mix too. That doesn't stop them from doing it. Besides, "hybrid air/ground builds" should be much more common in SC2.

Archons will need that kind of regen against an upgraded strain of Ultralisk that is stronger than in SC1 and that can deal more damage.
Who says that Archons are the answer to Ultralisks? I'd put my money on a bunch of Disruptors with ForceFields and a mob of Immortals pelting them with death from perfect safety. Or Phasing some of the Ultralisks out with HTs. Or using Hallucinated Stalkers or Zealots to absorb hits while Immortals do damage.

This isn't SC1; stop trying to use SC1 solutions to solve SC2 problems.

Apparently there's more translations; maybe these can be added to the article.

"Psionic" seems to mean any zerg or protoss caster. Also maybe archons and dark templar. But not zealots.

    Not terran ghosts?

    I guess ghosts as well.

I believe the full list is:

    Terran: Ghost

    Zerg: Queen, infestor.

Protoss: High templar, dark templar, archon, warp prism, disruptor. (And apparently not the mothership.)

Further analysis of the blue post doesn't show anything about neural parasite or time bombs. I'd love to find which posts those came from.

There are other blue posts on the korean forum. I think we should set up some deal with the koreans were they tell us what the korean blues say and we tell them what karune and cydra say.

If we have someone who could translate from English to Korean, then presumably they can translate the other way around too. We wouldn't need a "deal" although it wouldn't hurt.

Do we have someone fluent in korean and english? I was thinking a "dead" might be better because we rarely check the korean forums so we might miss important info. Plus a deal could help us ask questions to korean blues.
