Ghosts can cloak, that requires psionic energy.And Ghosts do?
Anyway, I should have been more clear, the psionic tag can easily be applied to all ground "spell casters."

I'm not against a tag that is applied to some spellcasters (to be clear: it's common to call spellcaster anything that has special abilities, it's shorter), but calling it Psionic is a bit of a misnomer. According to sc2armory, the psionic units are the ones with an asterisk in the following list:
Auto-Turret
Banshee
Battlecruiser
* Ghost
Hellion
Marauder
Marine
Medivac
Mule
Point Defense Drone
Raven
Reaper
SCV
Siege Tank
Thor
Viking
* Archon
Carrier
Colossus
* Dark Templar
* Disruptor
* High Templar
Immortal
Interceptors
* Mothership
Observer
Phoenix
Probe
Stalker
Void Ray
* Warp Prism
Zealot
Baneling
Brood Lord
Broodling
* Changeling
Corruptor
Drone
Hydralisk
Infested Terran
* Infestor
Larva
Lurker
Mutalisk
Nydus Worm
Overlord
Overseer
* Queen
Roach
Ultralisk
Zergling
What criteria did they use to tag the units? If the Warp Prism and the Dark Templar are marked, why not other Protoss units? Some of them aren't even spellcasters at all. Why the Dark Templar but not the Stalker? Or the Phoenix? Very strange.

No it doesn't. Unless Banshees and Wraiths should also be "psionic".Ghosts can cloak, that requires psionic energy.
What's so Psionic about an Infestor? It throws bugs and things at the enemy that physically take them over. Which is why it works with pure machines like the Colossus. There's nothing Psionic about them.I should have been more clear, the psionic tag can easily be applied to all ground "spell casters."

A ghost cloaking device is different, why do you think you need to research them separately? Second of all, yes it does, because lore says it does.No it doesn't. Unless Banshees and Wraiths should also be "psionic".
It's moreover just a name than any actual meaning. It just seems convenient to me to call all spell casters psionic, what would you rather call them?What's so Psionic about an Infestor? It throws bugs and things at the enemy that physically take them over. Which is why it works with pure machines like the Colossus. There's nothing Psionic about them.
After all, we don't know if Infestors have any psionic capabilities or not. They're a new game unit we know nothing about.

Yeah, let's just ignore the part where lore also comes in to say you're wrong anyway.Gameplay.
And yep, we're going to just rip out a cloaking generator on a wraith, and make it a backpack for the Ghost, yep that's what happened isn't it?

Look, if Blizzard want to say that a big-ass engine is needed to power the cloaking device, so if the Ghost is going to use it, it has to be smaller and half-powered by psionic abilities.... so be it.
That still doesn't excuse the Infestor's inclusion, or the Zealot's lack thereof.

To find a good name, first you must know why you're using it. The problem, is that it seems to be no reason to tag something with "Psionic". Dark Templar is psionic, but not a Zealot, and the Warp Prism is psionic also... why? If they do that to keep the unit from being mind-controlled, the Dark Templar is immune, but not a Colossus, which would be far more dangerous? I don't see the relationship.
