Rumor: Comic contest eludes to SC2 not coming until May/June 2010 at the earliest

Contest Period.
The period of time during which the Contest will be held (the "Contest Period") shall commence on 3:00 PM Pacific Standard Time October 29, 2009 and shall continue in duration until 2:59 PM Pacific Standard Time April 28, 2010 (the "Deadline"). All entries must be received by the Deadline to be eligible to win a prize.

Based on the above timeline, we can logically assume the beta will at least run until the 28th of April. Plus, given a deadline of late April it's likely there will be at least a month's buffer at the end since it doesn't make sense giving out beta keys when the testing period has ended. Also assume several weeks between the end of the beta until when the game goes gold to get everything finalized and packaged for shelving.

This is our first vaguely unofficial confirmation that the game likely won't even be out until June 2010 at the earliest...which many of us have suspected anyways.

Keep in mind that they will also have betas for the two expansions.

I think that any attempts at prediction are pretty futile at the moment, not enough info on the state of the game or Battle.net for that matter.

Yeah I think so too, I'm 98% sure Beta will start this month, and if it does we will have a much better time at gauging when it will have a final released.

people do hope at Blizzard, but from what I've heard they are thinking about the beta in a Christmas present way, still they want to release it the fastest way they can
