Other - I care somewhat but I've read less than 3% of that thread.

I'm not happy about the current state of the resource mechanics but I'm sure beta will fix these things.

Moves way too fast, sometimes it has great info, but most of the time its just people righting other peoples information, correcting eachother.

There's way too much rage and flaming in that thread, there's way too much intransigence (there's no point of posting, in other words), I haven't followed it in weeks (basically, I just read the last page every few days), there's too many unfounded assumptions, too many people who think they can read Blizzard's minds, too many explanations for why some of those features weren't included in StarCraft I, too many people who are absolutely 100% convinced they are right, too many people who don't see how beta can fix some of the problems, too many playstyles, too many "definitions of fun", too many "this game is not for you"/"the game MUST have this [negative] feature"/"no one should find this feature a bad thing", etc.

Yeah, it's a long negative wall of text, but I think the "debate" is as poisonous as the original MBS debate.

I post regularily. I know it's useless, because Blizzard settled for the current mediocrity. I expect the mechanics to get heavily modified after beta, because it's pretty obvious than they will be pretty boring, and they will be useless to make any difference in progamers.

That would be good for you? Two useless mechanics? I would prefer that they design a good mechanic to replace it... And yes, that probably means more APM requirement.
