I think they're supposed to be the Starhawks from Aftermath. But yeah, they're uninspired. I think ILM's adherence to Ralph Mcquarrie is stagnating their creative potential.

I dunno much about Star Wars, but my girlfriend is a fan on level of my SC obsession. She didn't like it as much as she had hoped, and laments the changes since the originals, but she isn't walking away from it entirely. Therefore, I don't think it's SC2 levels of bad


The Leia revival scene though ... that should live on forever in infamy of dankmemes and lolwuts for years for how fucking stupid it was.

I wouldn't say its SC2-level but its not far off, so much stupid, so much forced writing and so many plots that lead nowhere..
