I remember when SC2Forums.org asked me to be a moderator. Even then I could tell there was no saving that forum. Even if I had the executive power of Donald Trump, I wouldn't have been able to drain that swamp.

Huh. Maybe I'm looking at it through rose glasses. The only mod I really remember was AiurZ. Hunta was real cool, too.

The forum started off good (hence, why I was there). The problems I was talking about came sometime after beta. I even ran into kuvasz (a moderator, IIRC) from the forum in Co-op and he said the same thing.

SC2 was and is a proper competitive MP RTS, dirt league trash MMR not withstanding.

Yeah there's not much else on the market that is any good as far as I know. Last game I tried was grey goo which was a disappointment.
