I remember when SC2Forums.org asked me to be a moderator. Even then I could tell there was no saving that forum. Even if I had the executive power of Donald Trump, I wouldn't have been able to drain that swamp.

Huh. Maybe I'm looking at it through rose glasses. The only mod I really remember was AiurZ. Hunta was real cool, too.

The forum started off good (hence, why I was there). The problems I was talking about came sometime after beta. I even ran into kuvasz (a moderator, IIRC) from the forum in Co-op and he said the same thing.

Saying it's dying would be inaccurate. I'd rather say it's on permanent stable life support or it died and is now a zombie? Basically, the number of active users has been reduced to a few people but these few people show no apparent signs of ever leaving at this point.

Huh... Similar to the forum I am also a part of. Except one of them has some old forum members are coming back and it has a lot more people than here. I guess it's not all bad.

Iiinteresting. I'm thinking something like WH40K: Spacehulk set in the SC universe...

That would be cool but again, we'd need something small in scope. We can keep the same perspective/gameplay as spacehulk but in a horde survival mode on one map. Maybe recreate the ending of New Gettysburg?

Ahh back when SC2 looked like it was going to be a proper RTS game.....

remember that showcase between Matt Cooper and David Kim?

SC2 was and is a proper competitive MP RTS, dirt league trash MMR not withstanding.

Yeah there's not much else on the market that is any good as far as I know. Last game I tried was grey goo which was a disappointment.
