    Wow.

Aside from healing the ghost (something which could have been accomplished just as well by dropping 1 ghost 1 medic), it did nothing that a regular SC1 dropship or a WC3 zeppelin couldn't do.

I'm not as fiercly opposed to it now as I once was (though I still think the medic is a better unit), but I don't get what's so great about it at all. Yes, sweet tank/dropship micro... but it's possible with a regular dropship as well so it being a medivac doesn't add anything to it.

    Meh.
I think that the Dropship could use a per-unit upgrade to Medevac. You don't need healing on all your Dropships, specially if you're going metal. But i think that the Medics were more like a Marine upgrade than an independent unit. Medics in combination to 90% of the Terran units just don't make any sense.

Yeah, I never really understood the point of the medivac, other than the ability to make more room for infantry. I would personally prefer drones that dropped out and started healing multiple units, rather than the quick healing of one unit.

What most people forget is that the Reaver has been split between the Immortal (heavy damage to heavy armor) and the Colossus (AoE damge to light armor). The Protoss player's huge mistake was not building Immortals. There are countless occasions where Immortals would've saved his ass big time.

Yeah, I really liked how well the Terrans operated.
It was like every unit was meant to work together.
David Kim really played a nearly flawless game.

    Also, nukes ftw.

Im wondering... where the hell are the immortals?????????? Are they higher tech or something???? Terran player attacked with thors and tanks. Immortals could change this battle so easily... Immortals on the front as meatshields, while the colossus on the back attacks...

    Just wtf happened????
    Waiting...

    The damned will return...

I think they should have just made the medic more interesting, instead of replaced it with the medivac ;/

Let the dropship research some medivac upgrade so medics can heal from it.
Make "optical flare" actually useful (maybe make it aoe, or make it work on buildings - that way it would be super useful together with a ghost for sneaking by turrets).

Hell, you could even move stim to the medic and have it be an aoe ability (it makes sense, medics dishing out drugs to the troops). That worked fine in Armies of Exigo.

Colossus are way powerful, but you don't send Colossus vs units that are primarily anti air, which makes Thors just about the perfect counter to Colossus (high hp and anti air attacks). So you can't say they are trash, I think Colossus are a little too strong imo.
Sonic: [dressed as a cop] Let me speak to the driver.
Grounder: I'm not driving. He is!
    Scratch: No I'm not.
Sonic: Driving without a driver? Now you're really in for it.

Sonic: You know? I sure have fun.

QFT! I was pretty pissed about the lack of Immortals as well. IIRC they are at the same tech level as Colossi, and I think P saw the Thors, Tanks, and Marauders early on enough to build some. I saw no reason to go to Colossi at all.

Well in battle report 3 they got raped by zerglings... I'm sure they do good vs something (marines maybe), I just don't like them very much :-)

    Well, i finally seen it.
There's obviously a big skill difference, and David Kim got much more resources.
I would had liked to see some Immortals here. That probably would been healthy for the Protoss player.

It seems to be no way to actully dodge Psi Storm. Bad move there, Psi Storm had always been good for both players to show their skill. Give the control to the players: no (or very short) pre-delays, and longer duration while keeping total damage the same.

But the Medic had some issues that the Medevac helps to fix:
    - They were useful only in combination with Marines
    - Their other spells saw nearly no use
    - Too small to target
    - Too early (rapes Zergs)
    - Were vulnerable to the same things than Marines
    - Can heal other Medics
    - Too damn cheap. You lose a Medic, you lose nothing.

They got raped by zerglings because they spent most of the time mind controlled :s

I was hoping to see more air, especially I wanted to see the pheonix, void ray and the viking.

esp viking, I wanted to see how its transform would actually be used.
