I am having problems with the Terran unit graphics. Not enough visual differences between the Hellions, Mauraders, and even Siege Tanks. Maybe my eyes will be "trained" to see the units after I play the game myself, but right now it just seems hard to quickly look at the battlefield and see what unit types are there.
I just see Thors and a bunch of other stuff all blending together.

You're not used to them. This is to be expected.
Put someone who's never played SC before in front of a pro replay and they will NOT agree with the common perception that the screen is "easily readable." When they see chunks of Marine flesh go flying, that's what they're going to be looking at, not how many Marines there are on the screen, or how many Zerglings player X has while he's fighting the Zerglings of player Z.

I'd say that the Hellions and Marauders need some color differentiation. The STs are silvery, so they have a fairly distinct color. But Hellions and Marauders are too similar in color to tell which is which.

The siege tanks are very iconic, even more so now with their 4 poster deploy. The hellions are a little bland, they move too fast and aren’t iconic enough compared to the Vulture. It doesn’t look like a fast moving vehicle like a vulture so it messes with your head.
Thor just screws up everything with its size. Marauder needs some better readability and fixes to its attack animation (when a bunch of them attack, it’s pretty much GG… too many projectiles in the air)

It won't be so bad once we know what differences to look for... but you guys are on to something picking these two specific units. There's definitely some similarity with the bit of white surrounded by gunmetal gray and streaks of red.

I dunno why but the Blizzcon 09 2v2 games looked 10000x better than this battle report. Furthermore, after much analyzing I believe BR4 is using a old build (older than Blizzcon) Main reason is that Stalkers seem to shoot 2 strands rather than the single strand shown in blizzcon (which looks much better and sharp)
