Campaign Glitch

I started a new campaign to do the Hard missions, and got to the second mission. I skip the opening cutscene with Zeratul and his three Stalkers, and we begin the mission proper... Dragoons. Not Stalkers, Dragoons. Created a problem when I got to the part of the mission where I had to Blink across a chasm. The game sure didn't notice, because the transmissions coming in are from Stalkers. I restarted and sat through the opening scene, and got my Stalkers fine, but yeah, unexpected.

I chose Dragoons for my previous Normal campaign, so maybe the data got crossed somewhere? Has anyone else had this?

Yeah, it's crossed save data. Check this out from the third mission - note the Gateway interface versus what units you begin with.

It's only a shame there's no explanation given for how you acquired it. At least in WoL and HotS we got explanations, even if the reasoning isn't good.

Actually, there is. The War Council interface notes the Dragoons are ones in stasis on the Spear of Adun along with the Aiur Zealot, and they're pure of Amon's corruption because back when the Spear was put into stasis, Dragoon technology didn't incorporate a connection to the Khala for their pilots yet.

The dragoon schematic would be acquired from the spear of adun, or encounter on auir. And since auir, they could always tinker with dragoons and cut their cords too.
