A little booklet with interviews of the loremasters talking about ideas that they ditched for this expansion would be awesome, too.

That would be cool, but not likely as they'd be keeping all their ideas together for possible use in the Zerg and Protoss games.

I meant if this was a trilogy pack.

For the individual games, no. Although a lore book about the game would be cool (perhaps it could be something in the game that you unlock after finishing it). It would just keep track of the missions, explain things if need be.

Halo Wars' collector's edition came out with a limited edition comic. Nice...

I do believe you are referring to Age of Spaceology, a console* RTS** completely unconnected to the Haloverse.

*Read: Uncontrollable, hyped to hell, would have been so much better if developed by Rare for the computer, but ended up little better than an average arcade game.

Anyhow, the special edition of Batman: Arkham Asylum came with a Chinese plastic Batarang. Thoroughly disappointing, but what if the Special Edition (Shall we call it the Terrazene Edition?) of Wings of Liberty came with a 1:6 scale model of a Gauss Rifle, with a removable ammo clip and realistic battle wear?

Eh, I wouldn't really want a miniature version of a Gauss rifle.

In a Limited Edition, I'd want things like maybe dog tags, photos (like the one of the Heaven's Devils), or other things of realistic size that can be included.

I'm thinking maybe they'll pull something Gears of War 2ish. Like if you buy the collectors edition, you get fancy faction insignias or something unique looking for your units.

Maybe they can also give you some free credit to those 'pay for' maps.
