Thread: What Are You Watching?

That'll probably happen around the same time that the men aren't super-jacked god-men. It's fantasy. Cosplay with an alternative costume pack.
There are tons of non-jacked men in games. There are not tons of interesting women who wear clothes. Usually there's only two options: bland women or slutty women. I'd just like a chick who has a nice costume that's as interesting and catchy as male costumes, and not about showing her off. That's not a complex thing to ask for.

Fair enough. I'll concede that. Women themselves kind of prefer that kind of thing as they wear that in real life, but, nevertheless, I understand the 'spirit' of what you are saying and I'll concede.

As an aside, my comment was meant to be a quick little joke at feminists but it came across improperly (I sounded like a dick) because I was already starting to not care about the entire issue and didn't re-read.

Some insight into the animation process behind Ass Effect.
    Aaand sold.

Be it through hallowed grounds or lands of sorrow
The Forger's wake is bereft and fallow

    Is the residuum worth the cost of destruction and maiming;
Or is the shaping a culling and exercise in taming?

The road's goal is the Origin of Being
But be wary through what thickets it winds.

If there explanation isn't "we hired a team of rhesus monkeys to make our animations" I will be very disappointed.

I saw that the other day. Before I even read the tweets, I knew there'd be a bunch of excuses.

Yeah, I'm sure the reason had nothing with their diversity hires with no experience and the mass exodus at BioWare before release. Witcher 3 doing far better with a smaller budget was just a fluke. So was Fallout 4. And Skyrim. And the original Mass Effect trilogy ......... Even SC2 had better facial animations, IIRC.

In other news, Planescape: Torment Enhanced Edition was announced yesterday. Let's hope they've learned from their mistakes. They've got an option to not use any new featuers, so hopefully they have.

It's cool. I know feminists ruin stuff. It's just that people can object to objectification without being feminist.

And in fact most feminists don't realize that they are often themselves to blame for objectification...

Given the game's drawcard wasn't about the gameplay or graphics anyways, I think it'll do just fine.
Yes, that's right! That is indeed ME on the right.

The graphics and the game play were the one thing they can't really mess up to begin with. It's the plot, story, and text that Beambog destroys.

As long as a they don't retcon the characters to make political jokes about elections or GamerGate (as they did with BG:EE) then it'll be alright, since they seemed to have learned their lesson on that particular issue.

They partnered with Chris Avellone to make it, so I doubt he'd let them touch the plot and story. Looks like all they did was just "quality of life" improvements like higher resolutions, no loading times, remastere the music and gameplay tweaks
