1. Do you start with any heroes permanently unlocked, or can only play whatever is in rotation until you buy them?
You have access to any hero that is free that week (it rotates), but you tend to have access to at least one "easy to learn" champs, like raynor.
2. Does the 4-class system have any notable pros/cons to the standard Str/Dex/Int system?
it clearly makes a check against an all assassin team composition; you can make a kill squad, but a more balanced team is going to be able to CC you better and push objectives
3. Do you feel it has a place alongside DotA, LoL, etc. as a competitive game, specifically on the topic of team exp and no items, plus the multiple maps.
its plausible that it will, the absence of items has made for much more balanced gameplay. steamrolling can still happen, but a losing team can make a comback more effectively through things like multipushing, winning mercenary camps or other map objectives.
4. Do you feel the pricing system is fair? Ex: Daily gold vs. hero cost, 5-15$ per hero. Do you feel the game is worth the 40$ entrance pack that just released for those of us who don't have a key?
the gold vs hero cost seems fair, it can be quite a grind to get a hero for free though (theres sorta a daily limit, making it hard to accumulate gold). The entrance pack is a bundle I'd only recommend if u want the gold wolf as a cosmetic mount and/or you want to play and use the skins of said heroes. There are a lot of champs, and you're likely going to find one or two that are you're favorite; spending gold on skins/champs youre not going to use would be wasteful.
