I was considering it, but I don't have the free time anymore.

Wow, never even heard of it but it seems really interesting. I'll have to look into it. Thanks for the heads up.
Rest In Peace, Old Friend.

I've been aware of it for awhile now, but I've got no desire to get it for various reasons. Too little going for it for me, and there's far more interesting strategy titles coming up anyway.

From what I saw on totalbiscuits livestream Grey Goo seems to be a VERY basic RTS with almost no micro or skill potential.

So, basically, a strategy game.

It's from the creators of Universe at War, I believe? Not sure how 5 missions for each side would properly expound on the nature of the races in any detail though since most strategy games like C&C (which I think Grey Goo falls into) have fairly lengthy campaigns for each of the sides. Given I'm in it for the single-player, this will be a miss for me. Would be interesting to see how it stacks up against their previous effort, Universe at War, though.
Yes, that's right! That is indeed ME on the right.

Nothing that would send chills down my old nerd spines.
And the gameplay feels too muddy or somewhat slippery to my taste. I like a strategy game with more pronounced pacing and tiers you can play with.
The characters, unit design, faction design are not to my taste as well. Maybe I'm into more of a "Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future" setting. Gritty, high-tech, hard, sharp, deadly.
What I do like though is that it's not as cartoony as SC2. I wish SC2 didn't take the cartoony route.

Pretty much."What I do like though is that it's not as cartoony as SC2. I wish SC2 didn't take the cartoony route."
Especially their "modern" Protoss design.
