    Default New Zerg data: Biology

    So Blizzard has updated their SC2 site with a few details on the Larvae, Drones, and Overlords.

    Ummmm .... why? Isn't it time to start working on the Protoss lore for LotV reveals?

    How else will all of the new comers from Heroes of the Storm understand zerg evolution ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

    It's not the quality of the Blackstone Project, but it's interesting. By the way, I think we know how mutalisks fly now. "This peculiar organ emits a low-frequency energy field that disrupts gravity around the drone. The Drone then "swims" through the air..."

    Aaand sold.

    Be it through hallowed grounds or lands of sorrow
    The Forger's wake is bereft and fallow

    Is the residuum worth the cost of destruction and maiming;
    Or is the shaping a culling and exercise in taming?

    The road's goal is the Origin of Being
    But be wary through what thickets it winds.

    Overly complex, convoluted explanation for drone movement? Yes.

    Explanation for [insert the many holes in campaign]? No.

    Sounds about what I'd expect.

    Man, I guessed this (anti-grav organ) ages ago through pure fancon. I never took to the "farting of gas for propulsion" reason as being sound.
    Yes, that's right! That is indeed ME on the right.

    Previous entries hinted that Overlords used weak psionics as motive force. Now, I'd imagine Mutalisks would still use a form of chemical propulsion when in flat in space, but only for those tight turns and changes in velocity.

    The farting of gas concept is utter BS. This was one of the few psionic powers the corrupted Zerg had BEFORE Kerrigan became part of the swarm. The ability to levitate via TK made SO much more sense.
