Guys, Kerrigan can telekinetically smash battlecruisers into the ground and create giant storms visible from orbit. I think that she can fly.

I was saying that it is stupid and childish. Too much like a Disney cartoon. I half-way expected a magic carpet to appear so Raynor could take Kerrigan on a romantic ride while serenading her to "A Whole New World." The lyrics would have fit the story as well as anything else in the cinematic.

But can and should are two totally different things.

Just awful execution. Her flying animation was more of a float towards the leviathan.

Seriously, when I first saw the cinematic I thought she was going to jump off the building instead of fly to the leviathan. On the flip side, I think it would've been even more comical if it were told in Brood War style where she was transported through Ventral Sacs.

Did you play HotS? None of that is a stretch of any kind.

It's not that she's flying, it's that angelic pose as she ascends into the sunlight with the glorious music behind it.

I do like the music though.

Who hasn't? That wasn't a rhetorical Q to Gradius. I was simply asking, because we both know at times in missions in both WoL and HotS, certain things happen in mission JUST for the sake of the gameplay, not from a lore POV.

That would have been something too expected, so Blizzard hard to come up with something else.

Like I said before HoTS ever came out, the most advanced race in the galaxy is severely crippled by what is essentially a gust of wind. What is the point of plasma shields?
