Well 'you' has been retconned into Artanis who's probably going to keep it a secret.

Is there some sort of bug on this forum for newcomers? Whenever I post, the forum creates two copies of my post and merges them.

Oh, by the way, I love your sig.
I always want something different. Creativity is not my own forte. I'm better at taking what others have done and giving it form, making it coherent and functional. I'm the editor, not the writer. The carpenter, not the architect. So I highly respect the ability to create something new and unique as I generally cannot.

And yes, my signatures are usually awesome.

The bug has been persistent for about a year or more now. It doubles everyone's posts and if I recall is related to a patch for the forums base system, so its not the fault of any staff here. They've tried to fix it but no avail so unless there's a new patch or they completely reboot the forum into another forum program, we're stuck with it. The best solution is to click "Go Advanced" instead of "Post Quick Reply," and then just "Submit Reply" from there as it doesn't double your post and saves you the trouble of deleting the copy.

I would've agreed with you in 2012, but Blizzard cannot design units well anymore, I rather have the well rounded Lurker than some deathball oriented drooler-scarab.

Just look at how bad they are at designing protoss, "BIG GLOWING BALLZ" I can't stand that at all, I wish they'd just bring back Arbiters, Reavers, Scourge and call it a day.

If they just copy-paste from SC1 then WTF was the point of making SC2? Blizzard could have made tons of money with a fraction of the effort if they simply ported SCBW into 3D instead of leaving it to modders. Instead they decided to create something new but gave up when it got too hard and resorted to the lowest common denominator. Blizzard is nothing but a bunch of fucking cowards now. If they had any real balls or talent they'd simply do the economy switch, do the needed alterations to the units they have, and not add new units at all while charging 35$ instead of 40$ for the game.

Even without the unit changes, which they might have done anyway, there's no real need for the SCII games to be three full games. It should have been one game and two expansions. What are you even getting when you buy HotS and LotV? You get the single player campaign, some new units, and...what exactly?

Well technically HotS is an expansion.

But I think the primary reason that Blizzard split the game into a trilogy is because they had problems writing the story (problems they probably have yet to resolve). They didn't know what to do with the story so they had to spend extra time on it. On the other hand, they knew where to go wit hthe multiplayer (althought their design choices may not have been the best). So in the end they had a decent multiplayer ready and a story that wasn't even 1/3rd written.

What should they do then? Wait until the story was finished and keep refining the multiplayer? But then the might dollar came to them in the form of e-sports and Blizzard couldn't resist creating another cash cow. So they decided to realse StarCraft II as a trilogy.

In one sense, I don't mind that. In another, HotS was released for $60 apiece. Yuck.

As an expansion, HotS was only 40$, IMS.

She could've been talking Canadian dollars. The exchange rate has not been kind to our northern stepchildren recently.

I live in Calgary AB. I'm fairly confident I bought HotS for 40$ over B.Net as digital purchase upgrade. Exchange rate was irrelevant.
