There was an entire joke you completely missed and that's what Squibb was mocking you for.

I really shouldn't have to explain this.

Okay, NOW, you are dead to me.
THAT is your flaw in your foolish inability to see that since I have no sense of humor, jokes don't exactly exist in my vocabulary.

Looking back at this thread, I think it is pretty clear why Raynor would avoid telling her what her role in the universe is. And Metzen is a very sly ruseman.

Jim Raynor's last, final appearance in Brood War was after vowing to kill Kerrigan. What if, at that very moment, Samir Duran kidnapped him and has held him in a prison in some corner of the universe.

The "Jim Raynor" we see in Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm is actually Samir Duran taking his guise, trying to start a relationship with Kerrigan and take her mind off of the battle while Amon grows in power.

    But what about Narud?
Narud is another shapeshifter, one of two in the universe shaping it for their master's return. Narud's job was to plant the artifacts for "Jim Raynor" to collect so that he can restore Kerrigan back to her human self, with that energy being harvested by a device that "Jim Raynor" secretly planted on Char before the final mission.

But why would Raynor save Kerrigan and kill Arcturus?
Obviously because that means the notorious rebel Jim Raynor can retire, stepping out of the spotlight and into secrecy. He needs to if he wants to win the war and destroy the universe in the name of his dark master. And with the knowledge that a simple discharge of psionic energy from the Xel'naga artifact is potent enough to stop Primal Kerrigan, he can produce a more massive device with a deadly kick for the final battle, when his master reaches his full energy.

    There ya have it!

^ Way to bring it back on topic... pity that the only answers left to those questions are laughable.
Yes, that's right! That is indeed ME on the right.

Too complex for that to be Blizzard's thinking.

    Rest In Peace, Old Friend.

Now THAT would have made so much more sense, as Blizzard never explained where Narud came from. If they don't explain this in LotV (which I'm betting they won't), then all those possibilities of paranoia come to the surface.
