Last I checked, you are NOT the world's most brilliant man.
Irrelevant. I don't need to be Albert Einstein or Warren Buffet to hold more authority than you. I only need to have actually done something.

As for the rest, even though you'll never know it, your ramblings are the perfect example of how you never know what I am actually saying. Not only are you misinterpreting what I've said, you're misinterpreting my words as being in response to an entirely different conversation that I don't even remember ever entering in to. I have given up hope of ever showing you your problems. I have come at this from every conceivable angle with no results. There is simply no way to communicate with you the problems with your interpretations. I am astounded at just how ineffectually and wrong you are on such a consistent basis. There is nothing that can be done to help you. It is my problem and my compulsion which drives me to try to pretend that certain people can be reasoned with as if we all possessed the same capabilities and intelligences. If there is one thing I can learn from you, it is that this is simply not the case.

This coming from the person who thinks he's one of the elite that "debates properly." Wow.

You can say all you want about my (admittedly extant) over-sensitivity, but I never once believed I was better than anyone here. Even "wrong" perspectives about Starcraft can at least be interesting and worth talking about. Go on, Econ, twist my words into something sinister, if you wish. I won't reply anymore.

Now in his case, what the hell do you learn if you're RIGHT all the time?
The only reason we're "right all the time" is because we stay away from topics we're ignorant of and don't keep pushing the point when we're wrong. Doesn't preclude us from learning anything.

Haha, sure. Let's turn this into an entirely different debate because you can't follow the train of thought for the last one.

I never said I was one of the elites of anything. Only that I possessed a quality that resulted in all of the meaningful changes that benefit your life. You can't just claim that your way is a respectable alternative. You need to back it up. Go ahead. Show me a new idea that helped the world that came from being nice and "considerate" of other people's feelings. Even if you could, which I doubt, I can show you a million other things that are severe detriment to society and mankind as a whole that owes its continued existence entirely to the fact that so many people tolerate it for silly, self-righteous, idealogical, and emotional reasons. Even the belief that everyone should be treated nicely comes from aggressive personalities pushing against the popular beliefs of their time to forge a new way of thinking. When you pray, you should thank "assholes" like me for having what it takes to push the envelope where it needs to be (when others refuse to) instead of taking the far easier route and just giving in to stupidity and passively letting it spread until all rational thought is destroyed.

I await your examples. I am sure you will blow me away with them because clearly you possess some kind of knowledge that pretty much every great thinker lacks.

That's sarcasm, Ragnarok. Delete your post.

I never once believed I was better than anyone here.
The sad thing is, I bet you think that that is noble. As if being unnecessarily (and falsely) humble somehow is a virtue even it only leads to the spreading of dangerous ideas. Hell, I bet you even think you're better than me because you think you don't think you're better than me. I assure you, you are not. Then again, you're probably one of those people that likes to judge an argument based on how it caters to feelings and how it was presented instead of the argument itself. What you are is complacent and passive. Both of which stem from emotions, not logic, and are, therefore, part of the cancerous tumors of thought that are destroying Western civilization. If something is wrong, it must be cast out and removed from discussion or its taint will spread.

Being an asshole with good intentions is better than a self-righteous hypocrite, wouldn't you say?

All of the above is largely irrelevant and about an entirely different topic since you people seem to think I'm "brow-beating" people because I disagree with their interpretations of the motivations of a fictional character I either don't care about or despise. I am amazed at how many of you just simply do not understand. I am not even talking about StarCraft, why do you keep bringing it up? Clearly, neither of you bother to investigate the things you say before you post or else you would've been able to enlighten yourselves without me having to do the work.

Even "wrong" perspectives about Starcraft can at least be interesting and worth talking about.
You're getting as bad as Ragnarok. I am not "insulting" anyone because of their perspectives on StarCraft. I am "insulting" Ragnarok because he can't even understand my posts when they have nothing to do with StarCraft. Where do you people get this shit from? Must be a storm of emotions going on in your brain right to cloud your mind so thoroughly. I just don't get it. I express frustration with Ragnarok because he fails at understanding my points and then people jump on me as if I'm acting as if my opinion on fictional characters is the only correct interpretation even though I wasn't even talking about these things. Fucking people. What the fuck is wrong with you? How in the hell do you people function in real life? You must turn your brain off when log-in, otherwise, it would be remarkable that you all haven't drowned like chickens in the rain.

Don't bother, Nissa. To him, only he alone can be right. I consider that his mentality of believing he was born with the monopoly on truth.

How would you know? You've never even been able to get a basic grasp of what I've said.

Don't bother, Nissa. To him, only he alone can be right.
I've already told you I've admitted to being wrong before to Nissa. I know you're not going to be able to wrap your head around this sentence. I just put that there for anyone else with a functioning brain to read.

You overlook the problem that in games, things are sometimes INTENTIONALLY left vague. Blizzard does this so they can cover their own asses.

That means there's not enough concrete evidence to prove who's right and who's wrong. Maybe both of us could be wrong. I only try to look at the evidence to see what they're thinking. It could be wrong, but that's just my interpretation.

You, on the other hand, think that whatever evidence you gather HAS to be right. If Blizzard's thinking didn't match yours, then it means they're a bunch of morons who should all be fired.

Get this through your head: your "interpretation" is not fact. What you think is the right interpretation does NOT mean it's also the right one for everyone else.

But when something like that happens, all you see is that it means everyone else is a moron who can't see your POV.

I'm sure in a case where dozens of people see it one way, but you see it in another way, you just conclude the same thing: that it's not YOUR problem, it's theirs.

And there in lies your flaw: you're mentally incapable of even CONSIDERING the problem might lie with you, and not someone else.

Okay, you see how you just started talking about StarCraft and Blizzard? Please, for the love of God, tell me why you keep doing this no matter how many times I state it bluntly that I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT STARCRAFT OR BLIZZARD!!!

I am "insulting" Ragnarok because he can't even understand my posts when they have nothing to do with StarCraft.

Tell me, how you are anything other than a fucking idiot. I have repeated myself a nauseating number of times to you that you aren't even reading what I am saying correctly and specifically told you numerous times that I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT STARCRAFT OR BLIZZARD!!!

The most frustrating thing about you isn't that you make weird arguments. It isn't even how stupid you are or how bad you are at grasping concepts. It's how un-fucking-believable how many times you can miss a point time after time again and then come right back as if you hadn't already made a fool of yourself. You're never going to understand. Never. There is nothing I can do to help you. Nothing. You just aren't capable. I wish I weren't so stubborn with solving puzzles. Your fucking brain is like of the most disfunctional, illogical puzzles I have ever encountered. I can't stand to leave a puzzle unsolved but there's just no fucking way to get through to you. It's not possible. It's just not. It is literally impossible.

This is my last desperate attempt to get you to understand, I can't fathom how it is going to fail but I know it is.

I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT STARCRAFT OR BLIZZARD!!!

Pfffffft, now who's the one throwing a tantrum?

You may not be talking about that, but the fact still stands all you do is go around telling people how stupid they are at everything and how smart you are at everything. This time, I too am not talking about SC or Blizzard.

But there in lies what Nissa has written. Sure, he and I don't see eye to eye, but I was simply trying to keep things on topic. You can argue otherwise, but still.

You, on the other hand, simply feel that since you're smarter, you can do whatever the hell you want and people will accept it and agree with you 100%.

I think not. And that's exactly your problem and egoism, for thinking you're so above everyone else, and saying you only have to show you did something and that alone is enough.

That'll depend on what the "something" is. Last I checked, shooting your mouth off and bragging how smart you are over everyone else on the planet does not qualify.

Sure, when we talked on the battlenet forums you said my theories sucked, but at least I tried to give the thoughts on what they might have been thinking.

You, on the other hand, simply used the reason of "because they're stupid" for EVERYTHING.

If we follow that example, you're going to be giving the reason of "because they're stupid" for EVERYONE who doesn't agree with you on ANY subject. And believe me, that's not going to fly.

The question is do I treat everyone that way? No. You are a special case. A visitor from the void of intelligence and reason known as the Battle.net forums. I don't even treat Squibb that way, because even though he's wrong and opinionated, he is intelligent and I respect him. You are not. I never even treated Spychi or the other trolls that way. Over the years, there's been close to a dozen trolls whose idiocy would make anyone pull their hair out. I never did this to them. The fact that you don't know these people is why you're aren't qualified to judge anything. Most other people on this forum I have a great deal of respect for and we get along well.

What is especially ironic about what you say, in the typical Ragnarok fashion, is that I've always been a defender of the wisdom and experience of people not experts in a field and the ability of these people to contribute to that field. I've even argued against there being a testable standard of logic (IQs) even though I score very well in those and leaving them alone is in my own personal best interest. In fact, all I ever do is point out the times when an outsider's perspective is more effective, especially since I, myself, am an outsider of powerful economic circles even though I have better predictive capabilities it would seem some times. I have done nothing but sing the praises of the common, average, intelligent, informed person for years now but you think I am elitist and telling everyone to shut up because they aren't qualified to dare defy my reign of terror and reason.

    *sigh*

It took so much time to correct the above misunderstanding, I'm not even going to subject myself or anyone else to any other corrections. You're just another one of those damned internet posters that just will never understand just how much knowledge they lack. I can't help you with that so there's nothing that can be done about that. All I can do is put you out of my mind and let you rot in the poverty and torment of your own design.

Now, that you have responded, I will delete the text bombs and derail this topic no further.

NOTE: I only read the first few lines for fear that there would be more stupid shit in there that I would feel the need to correct. If I missed something idiotic, ohhh well, it'll have to stand, no matter how much it is an eye sore for the functioning minds of this forum.

Sure, he and I don't see eye to eye
Case and point, Nissa is a girl. Everyone knows that but you.
