    This comedian bought a ticket to see the new star trek movie on IMAX, paying the extra money, and walked in to find out it wasn't that much bigger than a regular theater. However, he paid the price they charge for the big IMAX theater.

    I like how the CEO tries to use an analogy that makes very little sense, check it out:

    Uh... well, "real" IMAX is recorded on 70 mm film, while Star Trek was filmed on 35 mm film. They just use the DRM (Digital Re-Mastering) process to blow the 35mm film up to the size of the theater's screen.

    So you still got an overall large screen and some pumped-up sound, for what its worth (double the standard ticket price?).

    If you see IMAX and DRM together, you ain't getting IMAX.
