Why did she evolve skeletal wings that do not confer flight or serve any function whatsoever?
Didn't QoB state Kerrigan used them in conjunction with her psi abilities to glide through the air at one point?
    Aaand sold.

I doesn't make any sense and they gave her high heels cause they think it's badass the same way they think it's badass to have big hands and feets nowadays and let me tell you something: it's extremly retarded. Just look at that! :

His hands are freaking enormous, almost bigger than his head. You know what this makes me remember? This:

Dk mode in goldeneye on n64. The only difference is that it's the head instead of the hands and that it's a CHEAT and everyone gets that it's supposed to be funny and retarded and no one actually think it's serious. But of course at blizzard nowadays it doesn't work like that. No instead they think this:

    and this:

While completly ignoring that you can be bad ass while still maintaining realistic proportion like this

I mean Ryu (the guy above from ninja gaiden) looks pretty badass imo w/o having to look like Donkey Kong right? Yeah I know, he's a ninja so he gets extra badass points but still. What about solid snake from metal gear?

Kinda badass imo without being a ninja.

I agree with you, but TBH I don't think his oddly large hands were done on purpose lol as that doesn't serve as a "cool" aspect if you ask me.

A lot of people really do have hands that are bigger than their heads.

It could also just be the angle of the shot.

It's hard to say yet since we only saw a few characters. BUT, all of those who we did see the hands (except the girls) seems to have big hands. You can view it a little bit more in that video:

I don't think it's the angle. I'm pretty sure they wanted to do it that way. Samwise usually draw like that. Look at the paladin in the back in this picture

It's the same kind of big hands. You can also see here that he love big hands

On another note, I found this while looking for pictures and I loled.

Yeah, Blizzard has warcraftized their games too much. Just because an orc has arms the size of a trunk, it doesn't means Raynor needs to.

She's vain and has the power to - don't these mutations just add to her mystique and character?

Mystique implies an aura of mystery. Organic high heels are just befuddling. I can see Kerrigan, nearing her victory, come out and give this audacious speech. When she's done, she sees people staring. Perplexed that it's not her chest they're staring at, she yells. They reply, "Wtf is with your feet?"

He might have better proportions but on the other hand, clothes do not follow body contours that closely. Unless, he's wearing really thin, kinky latex. What I'm trying to say is that all art styles are precisely that; stylized. Nothing is completely realistic save for live action itself and even then, you often have the issue of everyone being abnormally beautiful.
