So... to answer VoK's original question (#82) of what she left behind when accepting the "Powers of Zerus (tm)", she lost nothing at all. Really Rag, "losing her humanity"? You tease.![]()

Yes, that's right! That is indeed ME on the right.

I never said she lost her humanity. Zurvan told her that she'd lose herself, but obviously no such thing happened. The real Q, however, is can others see it that way. By the end of HotS, most of the Raiders still don't see that, since they only agreed to go down to Korhal by Raynor's decree as they shared a common enemy.

*shrugs* beats me.
But my point remains: this is why I still want a happier ending for the two of them.
It's not like Blizzard has never had couples in their other games before, but from SC1 to the end of HotS, it's been 15 years already that they've hinted for Raynor and Kerrigan. That has NEVER happened in Blizzard games where they've hinted a couple for this long before, regardless of what the ending will be.

If this hint comes to fruition I sure hope Raynor developed a fetish for tentacles. Else their love life might be a bit shabby..

Honestly, at this point, I'm betting Raynor will be fatally wounded, forcing Kerrigan to infest him to save his life. Kerrigan will later merge with a Protoss character to usher in the first of the new generation of Xel'Naga, leaving Raynor at the Zerg helm. :\Sorry but that's a bit TOO disney. I can see him living aboard the Leviathan with the Zerg just to be with Sarah, but that's it. The whole infestation process is something I can't see him accepting, that's going WAY too far unless something REALLY dramatic happened.
Aaand sold.
Be it through hallowed grounds or lands of sorrow
The Forger's wake is bereft and fallow
Is the residuum worth the cost of destruction and maiming;
Or is the shaping a culling and exercise in taming?
The road's goal is the Origin of Being
But be wary through what thickets it winds.
