I think if they had gotten the difficulty right, it would've proved to be a solid campaign. I was bummed out about that, and I was bummed out that we didn't get Kerrigan's original battle focus, which looked far more interesting than what we ended up getting in the final version of the game.

I feel that switch was made after they though Zerus was a better idea.

Seriously though, Kerrigan was too powerful in HotS. The Swarm felt really weak for me. I could not feel the swarm being powerful, numerous, or dangerous at all. In BW the story was told around multiple broods ravaging the Korpulu sector. Instead of a colosal swarm we just got Kerrigan stomping everything herself. Never did she divided her swarm to attack other locations. Stukov's, Zagara's and Dehaka's Broods were so damn weak... Even though we got images of multiple leviatans and unamed brood queens, I still feel the whole HotS swarm was contained within a single Leviathan.

Blizzard will never reuse unique, interesting characters. Only 2D cliches get the frequent appearances: the heart of gold scoundrel, the betrayed bitch, the mysterious wizard. Everyone else is one-and-done. I don't even expect to see Abathur.

I don't either. My gut feeling is Niadra's part will just affect the storyline to make things even harder for Zeratul to convince his people, and that's it.

I have nothing but dread for Legacy of the Void. It's the Protoss that have been most screwed over by bad writing, as nearly every bit of Protoss involvement is dumb in some way. The Tal'darim are extremely shallow, Zeratul's a herp a derp, Protoss canon has been steamrolled, and that one scientist chick that showed up in HotS was really boring.

I feel nearly physical pain for what they've done to the race that's the favorite of most of us here.
