Seriously though, your perseption of life is pretty much good or bad depending on the contrast between your scope of success and your true reality.

Well as I was telling Demo on skype the other day, I'm still on the job hunt myself, hence why I still have a negative perception.

In school I was basically universally reviled for my high intelligence and was beaten up by a mob pretty much every single day.
No, as I said before, that is just what you tell yourself. You were not hated for your intelligence. That is your excuse and it is your tendency to make excuses that has ruined your life beyond your ability to wrap your brain around. Where are you academic awards? Where is your successful career? What have you ever predicted? Who comes to you for knowledge? Be honest with yourself. It's that brutal honesty that makes you better.

You are not abnormally intelligent. I have proven that time and time again. They say that the higher your IQ is the more you seek out things which challenge you. Well, while you're doing nothing but complaining, I've read close to a thousand economics books in a few short years and absorbed more information in a month than you will in your entire life. Not for personal gain but just to quiet my mind which is difficult to control. I tested an IQ of 145 in elementary school. I am smarter than you and I was universally loved in school and all the way through recently until I stopped caring about social interaction because it takes up too much time.

Not as if intelligence means shit anyways, I was a fucking failure too through high school until I got my shit together. What successful traits I have are entirely unrelated to my intelligence. In fact, my intelligence is nothing but a hassle that needs constant tinkering with because it is so unwieldy to have.

I still have connections to both the Triad and MS-13.
    Bull-fucking-shit

The Illuminati only removed most of it.
Surely that's a joke but, with the weird shit that just took, I have to ask. usrs?

There is truth in this. People will typically see their greatest perceived strength as being the envy of others when they feel victimized. It's both natural but immature. Me? Yeah, I was pretty smart in school, but I was also socially inept and came from a troubled background, so I naturally thought to myself, "Ya'll are just jealous of my intelligence." Whether or not that was the case was entirely separate from the reality of the situation.

Intelligence does not a successful career make. Persistence, dedication, strong social base and network are often times more important than sheer intelligence.

Sometimes this is true, sometimes not. One really neat trick to help one's self with motivation and career-oriented problems is pavlovian training. Me, I'll force myself to smile when working out and eat sweets afterwards to treat myself. Now I fucking love it. The same methods can be used for other aspects in life.
    Aaand sold.

Refer to third block of text. I agree with you. In fact, I might be a bit more successful if I weren't so "intelligent" because I wouldn't need to spend so much damn time catering to my mind so that I can function on real life work. But, again, intelligence is so relative and unquantifiable as to be a meaningless statement.

    I gotcha, my bad.

I think, much of the time, people who are intelligent and know it tend to become indolent, a little lazy and self-absorbed. This pit of stagnation I think is their biggest obstacle to success.

I'll say that's a fairly accurate assessment of me. My problem has always been "what do you do when you can do anything?" For me, the answer simply became "nothing."

To be fair to Demo, it's actually fairly likely that beautiful, not particularly intelligent people get lazy and self-absorbed. 'S why not so many head cheerleaders and star athletes in high school don't turn out as successful as others.

And no, Econ, no drugs. Just an alternate worldview and a whole lot of synaesthesia. I'm actually scared of doing drugs, because I know it'll make my head worse. Apparently some drugs even create synaesthetic reactions, and I don't want to be entrenched even worse in my own imagination.
