I've been coming to SCL since its earliest of days. I never registered onto BlizzForums though until several months past the announcement of StarCraft II. I registered because I saw a particularly stupid post from a particular poster that shall remain anonymous named Spychi who said that it would be impossible for a 2.4 Ghz Athlon to run StarCraft even on low. Armed with my vast knowledge of technology and a defensiveness at such a brutal insult to my beloved baby PC at the time (Fuck that bitch, I got a i5 750 now, Ho) I proceeded to delve into detail as to why it would work. Lo and behold, I played the beta fine when the game was released on the very same computer that was supposed to be unable to do so. I also stayed for years after for the promise of additional spychi arguments. Thank you Spychi.

@Blade: All that speculation and theorycrafting reminds me of a better time when we had no idea how bad SC2's story would be. It was so full of promise and with over a decade of most of us contemplating the future of our favorite characters we had some truly mind-blowing ideas. Sadly, the game's story was awful. It was not only disappointing in its own right, it ruined a lot of SCBW for me since I now know where the story goes (Nowhere) and I am still unable to muster even a single fuck about the lore to read any of the novels since release or investigate mysteries of the lore. Far cry from the time when I would spend hours at a time on the Wiki page, reading up on information, making predictions and going into detailed analysis. Now, I just play the MP and read some real sci books. Damn you Blizzard. I wasn't just disappointed on July 27, 2013, I lost a beloved son and lost touch with a dear friend.

(Is that how one does mushy, gushy nostalgiagasmic pontifications? I'm never good at the feels.)
