Thread: What Are You Reading?

What will take the tree's place?
Some heretofor unknown feature on Aiur, probably in an underground cavern. The manifested Heart of Aiur, a massive tree-like structure made of pure Khaydarin or some shit.

Tassadar's spirit will lead the charge of the collective Protoss essence, but in the process the Khala will collapse and leave the Khalai reeling.
    Aaand sold.

Be it through hallowed grounds or lands of sorrow
The Forger's wake is bereft and fallow

    Is the residuum worth the cost of destruction and maiming;
Or is the shaping a culling and exercise in taming?

The road's goal is the Origin of Being
But be wary through what thickets it winds.

The Khalai have almost reached the end of their tether anyway. If they've learned ANYTHING from the fall of Aiur, it's that their traditions are worthless in fighting the Zerg, and therefore will be worthless when dealing with the hybrids and Amon.

I think I heard this one before. It's the one where Amon starts to climb that tree and then Zeratul blows a psychic horn to summon the spirits of the Tassermind to create one big kablooie, right?

Yeah, well, it's not funny anymore Harley.
Yes, that's right! That is indeed ME on the right.

Where did you hear it from?

Don't give me your "it's common knowledge" excuse. What is common knowledge to one is not always true to another.

You can argue everyone should know it, but you and I have both seen in real life of our share of people who are somewhat devoid of that.

It is a reference to an obvious, common knowledge ending (especially for Blizzard fans) but that's not why I'm in awe of you at the moment. And, since you missed the point again, I must repeat:

    Oh for fuck sakes Rag

Ragnarok: My last few posts have been referencing the end to WarCraft 3. Since StarCraft seems to be making this shift towards the fantastical, I am joking that StarCraft's ending will mirror WarCraft 3. Moreover, Turalyon referenced a cutscene in StarCraft vanilla where a flight of Wraiths attack the Confederate station over Tarsonis.

We all on the same page now? Good.

Actually I don't see WHY they wouldn't make it similar to WC3's ending. It's not like Blizzard was ever creative with endings in the first place.

Really? For a minute there it looked like you were referencing My Little Pony's magical, crystal tree that was also in a cave. Now that's funny. I would laugh so hard if Starcraft ended the same way a show of colorful pony critters did.
