Edit: So, having read it, I'd say the "squee" is definately well earned. Very solid, one of the best, may have taken A War On as my favourite HotS short story. Writing's good. I like how the Raiders are portrayed, how it's very much a varied group - Umojans, Morians, Dominion...ers?, Confederates, etc. Just the notion of SCV pilots and soldiers bickering, zerg interrupting their operations, not to mention all the shout outs to past lore. Heck, even Old Faithful gets a mission, which has only ever appeared in StarCraft 64. At the end of the day, there's something 'quintiscencially terran' about the story. Which, as Just an Overlord was to the zerg, is something that I like.

So yeah. Great stuff.
