New site short story, focussing on the siege tank. My suspicion is that it'll be the last one for awhile, but the blurb doesn't specify as such, so...

Edit: So, concerning the story, I'm kind of mixed.

On one hand, I'm glad that we finally got a terran vs. protoss scenario, and that the terrans were KMC instead of the usual Dominion (though seem to have access to Dominion tech anyway). On the other hand, the protoss and terrans are fighting because...um...and the protoss are on Moria because...um...

Writing was okay. Nothing special, nothing bad. Decent, just would have appreciated more background.

Woah, the Arclite siege tank! I love this trend of legitimizing the old designs instead of pretending they never existed, wish they would have done this all along with the marines and gauss rifles instead of giving them the same names.

Well, they did kinda. The old CMC armour and gauss rifle design has occassionally popped up in artwork and the Firebat is another example of an in-universe difference between armour types. But it's the exception rather than the rule.
