Thread: StarCraft: Subjection

    Just beat mission three and watched the opening cutscene for the third. Though I was disappointed with most of the voice actors, I absolutely love Brent Nitroz's work. Orthos seems sly and cunning, so I'm watching him closely. Another thing I've noticed is that, while watching this, I'm mentally pointing to characters and thinking, "Asshole, asshole, potentialy asshole... you're okay... asshole..." Which isn't a bad thing. I like the clashing personalities.

    Be it through hallowed grounds or lands of sorrow
    The Forger's wake is bereft and fallow

    Is the residuum worth the cost of destruction and maiming;
    Or is the shaping a culling and exercise in taming?

    The road's goal is the Origin of Being
    But be wary through what thickets it winds.

    I noticed it as well. And I have a message from the executor:

    Executor Nyon? Who's he? Never heard of him. :P

    PS: I referenced 3 sclegacy forum posters in the final mission. +rep to the person who lists them all first.

    Lemme guess.

    A 'TychusFindlay' and 'DemolitionSquid' boss battle, Dragon Ball style like Kerrigan and Duran. Massive beams of light and Michael Bay explosions everywhere.

    I'm flattered.

    The other must be Hawki. Who hides behind mountains like Krillin and shouts, "Where is Gifted, the Super Saijin moderator? Will he get in here in time? Wait and see in the next exciting episode of StarCraft: Subjection."

    I think I caught a couple of those names, Gradius.

    I'm interested in the way you've set up the protoss military organization, Grad, and noted the nature of the auxillia. Would that make Lazadin and the others honorary Templar? Or were they all Templar, but transferred their allegiance to the overall Templar armies? I guess I'm confused on that point.

    If I understand your question, the latter.

    Legions = armies of Aiur/Shakuras.
    Auxilia = armies of Aiur & Shakuras's colony worlds.

    Formed after the khalai & nerazim merged. I pretend that the protoss empire had its own ladder/ranks, etc.

    Interesting campaign but I'd have given some developed zerg characters.

    I must admit I find some abilities (like the Dark Templar mind controlling) to be pretty OP.

    I just want to say here, where no one that matters in this regard will see, that I am really, really pissed about the whole Arcade no save bullshit.
