Nope, they're little relationship is to the side (and really irrelevant since it's ignored by Dugalle anyway) It's about the UED occupation of the Dominion worlds and their capture of the Overmind.

despite it's name it's really not about the Overmind, it's about the Zerg as a hole and their conquest of the Protoss as well as the dark templar.

My point was these stories wre event driven instead of character driven, obviously characters are important, but it's not the focus.
