The Wilhelm scream is obligatory in all war scenes aimed at viewers of man-child age.

I like how the Scream is cut off though; it's like their cinematic department is saying, "Fuck this trope."
Aaand sold.
Be it through hallowed grounds or lands of sorrow
The Forger's wake is bereft and fallow
Is the residuum worth the cost of destruction and maiming;
Or is the shaping a culling and exercise in taming?
The road's goal is the Origin of Being
But be wary through what thickets it winds.

It's not a trope.
The cinematic is riddled with issues. I especially like the comments praising the soundwork. You guys are just as bad as the shills they pay to write factually-incorrect positive reviews.

Made me think of all those bronzers in team games who go mass Vikes, land them in your base, and start BM'ing a murder streak when they're all killed in 5 seconds by your ground army. "Uhh....what did you think was gonna happen....?"
HA friend posted this - I guess this is what happens after the balance patch....

You realize, of course, that most of SCL is going to "regain its senses" and berate Blizzard's poor choices for HotS, right? Please allow this small, brief window of sunshine into my life.The cinematic is riddled with issues. I especially like the comments praising the soundwork. What are your problems with the trailer, Pronogo?

Matter-of-factly, sure. Analytic? Ha. Scientific? HAHAHA!
@Visions of Khas: That quote is from Pr0nogo right? He's got the failishness of Squibb but without the entertainment value. I'm not even going to look but I'll put 5$ on it. Lemme no if I'm right.

Hey, let's not mix everything. As far as I'm concerned, I can criticize a WoL story that I strongly disliked and also criticize flaws in a cinematics I enjoyed a lot. I think the battlecruiser size doesn't feel right and the Terran don't look very convincing as trained soldiers, which I suppose could count as a poor choice, but my reaction upon watching the cinematic is still "Awesome!".
Like, I could point to a number of flaws in Brood War and still consider it one of the best stories I've seen in video games.
Now that was fun![]()
