    But, that's another topic for another time.
    I've started playing Civ5 (got it 75% off during Steam sale). Its hells more complicated than SC, that's for sure.

    I played quite a bit of Civ 5. I recently bought the Complete Civilization collection so I'm going back and playing 3 and 4. I prefer Alpha Centauri though.

    Those games are checkers though compared to Paradox games like Hearts of Iron or Crusader Kings. A few hours of that and I'm more exausted than a day of StarCraft II, as surprising as that is. I also bought just about every other RTS game there is and I'm trying those too. From World In Conflict to Dawn Of war II to Supreme Commander, etc.

    Got any recommendations? So far I've only read Simon R. Green, Ender's Game & Dune (not a huge fan).

    I'm trying to find someone reliable who actually played Achron to give me their opinion. The meta-time concept was mind-blowing to me, but the graphics are so low I just couldn't bring myself to play something that looked even worse than Warzone 2100.

    I've posted this before, but the Starfire series by David Weber and Steve White was pretty good. Real naval combat in space with plausible physics. Also plausible cultural and diplomatic scenarios for a future human civilization. Here's the Amazon list: http://www.amazon.com/Starfire-Novel.../12QL06N32XVQ3

    I've got tons, but, like I told someone else who asked, based on what I know that you like and you being a StarCraft fan, I would say that Leviathan Wakes and Revelation Space series are, by far, your best bet. I've read lots of other science fiction, but, the best ones were either too long, hard to read, or lacked that something that these two series had. So, I recommend you start with Revelation Space and Leviathan Wakes. Revelation Space for an emphasis on aliens, and Leviathan Wakes for an emphasis on humans.

    If you give me some qualities you're looking for, maybe I can give you more recommendations.

    Also, its ironic that you would bring up Ender's Game. I just finished rereading that yesterday. The last time I read it was when I did a report on it in middle school. It was during my early phase of StarCraft love, ahh so long ago, so many good memories. Alas, Ender's Game's no where near as good as I remember. I think its overrated, despite the fact that I like the idea of tactics training in a battle school. Maybe it just wasn't long and detailed enough for me Audiobooks have removed the tedium that long, drawn out books bring so I tend to flock to the more complex, 1000+ page behemoths that I coward from before.

    As for Dune, I've said it before and I've said it again. It's the equivalent of the Lord of the Rings for science fiction. It's a great book but its horribly overrated since it was the pioneer of its genre. Its not hard to find recent books that surpass it in every way, even if they did borrow heavily from Dune. I'm debating on whether or not to continue the series for this reason. Not to say I don't like it, there's just SOOO many other books.

    I'm trying to find someone reliable who actually played Achron to give me their opinion.
    I don't use steam (prefer physical) so I'd never even heard of that game, but it sounds good.

    If you're interested in more complex strategy games, maybe I could recommend some that are good and still have a graphical enough UI to suit you.

    Back on the topic of Blizzard, that GIF is the perfect expression of how I felt during WoL's development and why I no longer listen to any news updates about HotS. I'm perfectly content to play WoL, the beta, and ignore any and all lies Blizzard says.

    After all, Diablo III STILL DOES NOT FUCKING HAVE PVP, WHAT IN THE FUCKING FUCK IS THAT FUCKING SHIT??!?!?!?!

    Dear ThePsychologist, a friend of mine is playing a game about handicap women. Do you think he is a deviant? Love, Tche.

    PS: Semantics aside, I think that what you described as your normal sexuality is what Jconant was trying to describe as "deviant", as in, "not completely acceptable in our culture". Because what you described is both the norm, and something people are not outspoken about. So that's how you "argument better": shitstorming over nitpicks.

    Lol Tche. Seriously, play Katawa Shoujo. Its 6 hours you will not regret.

    Unless you end up with Shizune, cause damn does it put her in control to make its point. Ugh.

    I almost downloaded the game. But I'm afraid that any of the following things happen:

    1) My wife finds out I'm playing it, odd moment ensuing;
    2) Its adult material turns me own somehow. I have a religious point of not getting erections outside of wedlock.

    Dude. If you're afraid of getting turned on by drawings, the last place you should be is on the internet. Seriously.

    Your retort was short, and yet wrong in so many ways. I will enumerate for you.

    1) The internet is not even a place;
    2) I can access the internet avoiding the things I don't want to see;
    3) Even if I couldn't, I'm used with temptation, or I couldn't walk the streets, where hundreds of she-devils walk with their wrists uncovered;
    4) Can letters turn you on? They can because they form words which make your imagination work. Drawings can do the same;
    5) One thing is watching an adult movie that has sex as part of its plot, another thing is watching a sexplotation where the plot exists as foreplay to porn;
    6) I admit I'm a man with a past.
