Simple post, what do you all make of this piece of concept art that was leaked with the recent patch?
The implication seems obvious to me.

They're thinking of ways how to implent decals on the unit themselves!

Yes, the implications are clear. The Dominion is abusing zerg under its control. I shall notify KSPCA immediately.![]()

"I'm just saying, sir, the Confederates tried it first, and that drew the Zerg to Tarsonis. Then the UED tried it, and the Zerg rose against them. Now why are we using these hydralisks for security when rotweilers and autoturrets will do?"
"Hey, don't worry, we've got a failsafe. Some geneticist down in Lab 5 bioengineered them so that they're completely dependent on the lysine we add to their food each day. If they go bad or escape from the facility, they can't get it on their own."
"... can I get a transfer?"

Eh, I'm just excited that it appears we'll be fighting more varied opponents in the campaign, as with Brood War. Terran and zerg against you is more interesting than just one or the other would be. Hopefully they come up with similar mixes for the other races (EG, Umojans with allied protoss, Hybrid enslaved protoss and zerg...).

That's not a bad point actually. Pretty much a given we'll be fighting terrans (mainly Dominion), zerg (rogue broods), protoss (probably mainly Daelaam) and potentially fauna-based armies, but combinations of them, and allied against you at that, wouldn't be a bad idea.
Doubt we'll have a protoss and terran team-up though. Daelaam are generally uninterested in terran affairs and the Tal'darim don't seem like the allying type. Raynor would be the 'go to' guy for alliances, but I doubt the Raiders will be fighting against Kerrigan or anything.

True enough on the protoss comment. You never know though, given the Hybrid have enslaved protoss and zerg before, and the terrans seem heavily involved in their creation, so far (minus the vat creatures Ulrezaj was working on, whatever those ended up being).

I believe the SoK mark on the Hydra's forehead is one of Arcturus' attempts to fix his reputation after the Tarsonis scandal.
