    We were brainstorming in another thread if a voidray with some sort of splash/ toggle mechanic would help improve air tech, but what if the mothership played that role instead. Have a spelleffect you can toggle on/off which burns mana and lets the mothership "unleash hell" so to speak.

    I figure it would be balanced on the fact you can only have 1, and it is really vunerable to focus fire from anti air units. This single target, practically one time use only spell isnt worth it tho.

    I say use the energy like Stim. 100 energy for triple the Mothership's attack rate for 20 seconds. Call it "Death Blossom."

    I dunno... a spell to make a caster into an attacker for 20 seconds? Seems off from the established rules of the series to me. I personally cannot recall any other casters in the series with anything like that.

    I can.

    It was the Mothership Core circa patch #3, when Purify gave it an attack.

    Purify should be something maybe more along the lines of what ms did in alpha, large barrages of energy projectiles on top of its basic attack.

    1) I agree the Vortex change is perplexing at best.
    2) Medivacs: I agree with the cost increase. Will have to research how the rest of the changes here compare to the previous base stats to make a full opinion.
    3) Seeker Missile - Considering the biggest reason players bothered to get this in the first place was specifically for the splash damage vs Zerg, bio, and gateway armies, this is confusing. I watched a Husky demonstration of the a0ability and the speed is great. I agree with the Yamato comparisons.
    4) Swarm Host - was expecting a nerf based on the bnet forum chatter

    Otherwise I'm okay with everything else until I try it except....

    ...5) Infestor - I think this is a move in the right direction, but I think it will be nerfed again due directly to the issues Zerg players have in closing longer, econ/macro heavy games, at least in WoL. The issue here is, as I see it, as good as Infestors are, the over-production of them for fungals and infested terrans is placing a limitation on the late game Zerg's raw firepower that the infestor's abilities alone cannot overcome. This is seemingly a much less pressing issue in HOTS given the synergies of the Viper and Swarm host with late game Zerg armies and the buffs to the Hydra.
