Character Comparison - SC1 vs SC2

I'd thought as much. Paul Eiding's voice is very distinct because it either sounds like a variation off of Aldaris or Perceptor (Transformers). The Sc1 Overmind had a real growl and age to it's voice which is similar to what Sc1 Zeratul had.

Eh... I'm still not convinced it's Ritschel playing the Overmind. Highly possible, but I take IMDB with a grain of salt. (They say Harry Shearer played the Science Vessel, which is preposterous.)

And you're forgetting Colonel Campbell and Grandpa Max who are incredibly growly and old. :P

Might I ask who did the Artanis, Overmind and Tassadar voices? I actually just finished the first version of the script for a Legacy of the Xel'Naga tie-in project for StarCraft I, and I'd very much like to find who did those voices to, you know, impress them into my army of project workmen.

For anyone interested in my work at all, the current project, just for some practice at getting something done (see if I can even put out something of quality) are remakes of Enslavers I, II, Retribution and Insurrection to A, be better, and B, tie in with Legacy of the Xel'Naga more.

sadly Jack passed away a long time ago, before SC2 was released, leading to Zeratul turning into a pot-smoking old-man

Not sure if it was intentional or not but just recalling Cairne's voice, let alone comparing it to Zeratul's new voice, makes me want to laugh.

Tassadar = Philip Sacramento.
Overmind = A dude named Legion from campaign creations. He's retired now I believe, but he was easily one of the best when it came to vocal effects. I am trying to recreate the Overmind effects myself, but it will be a while before I can fine-tune it like he has.
