By way of this...I'm not too worried in itself. Disney acquired Marvel, and while that resulted in the cancelation of Spectacular Spider-Man (insert rant here), I'm not aware of any dramatic shift in Marvel's stories or anything, or at least anything that can be tied to Disney as a whole.
However, I'm hardly enthusiastic for an Episode VII. Other movies are fine, but while I haven't read much Star Wars EU fiction post-RotJ, I don't want to see it retconned.
And Joss Whedon? Meh. That's all I can say.

I wholeheartedly approve.
I look forward to Disney making something as horrible as war more wholesome and family-oriented as it really should be.
Yes, that's right! That is indeed ME on the right.

Um...I think some people are taking the "Wars" part of Star Wars a bit too literally. Obviously action is all well and good but it doesn't dictate that everything has to fall in that paradigm.

Well, yes, that is correct. However, the best of Star Wars that I can think of had the war as the focus or the backdrop.
Fictionally, I can also see war factoring into the new movies, because the empire didn't just roll over and die when both the Emperor and the second Death Star were destroyed.
Yes, yes, go ahead and post the Robot Chicken sketch. We've all seen it.
